I started in the web design business about the same time Al Gore invented the Internet. Prior to that event I polished my computer and software skills working for various Hi Tech startup companies in Thousand Oaks, California (Home of the Rockwell Science Center). In 1988 we traded California for Colorado Springs and worked 2 years for Cray Computer (building the next generation of Gallium Arsenide based Super Computers). In 1989 we stumbled upon a remote little Colorado mountain town called Westcliffe. Here I began a new career as the graphic designer for our local newspaper, until I left to start my own business. In case you’re wondering: This is the Wet Mountain Valley of Colorado (7900 feet elevation) with the incredible Sangre de Cristo Range behind us. Like our high altitude office? |
